Hello,

I am Sankar new to SharePoint Portal Server. I am facing one problem
in multiple instance.

Eg. I created one webpart containing more than one dropdownlist and search
button. While clicking on the search button based on the dropdown values am
displaying the result sets in the datagrid.

I drag and drop the web part i created in left zone and in the right
zone(single page containing 2 same web parts).
Problem: If i change any one of the dropdown value in the left zone web
part, while clicking the search button the result sets changed in both the
webparts. But i need to chage in the 1st web part alone. (Multiple Instance
handling),

Please help me in this.

If you are using controls inside of your webpart check the control.ID or
control.Name youn need and unique id for controls. Try to use the webpart id.
