Applied MOM 2005 SP1 and now I am getting this message |
|
|
Not sure if this was happening prior to applying MOM 2005 SP1:
I go to MOM Administrator Console, expand "Administration", "Computers",
"All Computer".
Then I right click in SOME of the computers and I get the following message:
"Properties for agent that needs to be upgraded can not
be displayed or modified until it is upgraded.
Please upgrade the agent and try again."
I don't see any error logged in eventvwr.
Is this a known issue ? |

Marlon,
If you look in the Pending Actions node in the Administrator console,
are these agents in a Pending Upgrade state? If so, you will need to
right-click the agents and choose the Upgrade option or approve the
upgrade so the agents can be upgraded automatically during the computer
discovery process.

Never mind. The agent computer needs to be upgraded as well.
I ran the respective MOM2005SP1 setup.exe on a Win2003 SP1+MOM2005 agent.
Then after 5 minutes I went back to the MOM Management server and upon right
cliking the respective upgraded MOM2005 agent machine I am still getting hte
"properties for agent that needs to be upgraded can not be displayed..."
