Moved to new server - errors from agents |
|
|
I was testing Mom on a test server, with a test group name.
I finished testing and then I built a production Mom server.
I uninstalled all the agents from the client machines, and reinstalled them
when the new server came up.
But, they still show the old group name on them.
Now, after a 2 days, all the clients are giving errors "The outgoing agent
queue is full", trying to write to the OLD server group.
They are in fact writing to new server group name, but how do I get rid of
the old one, completely? |

Hello,
Thank you for your posting!
Please uninstall the agent by using the old Management Server, And delete
them in "unmanaged Computer".
Install the new MOM Server and SQL Server. Configure the new Computger
Discovery Rule. Use it to deploy agent.
If you have any questions, please feel to let me know. I am glad to be of
assistance.
