I setup TLS on our LCS 2005 server, as far as I can tell, it's working as
far as the server is concerned. However when I try to sign in using TLS with
the email address that DOES work when using auto-configuration on TCP I get
username@company.com is an invalid address. Please verify the address and
try again

What am I doing wrong or missing here?

Thanks!

The key is to figure out at what point the client fails - start with client
logs (you can enable them via the registry) and then look at the steps the
client is taking before failing. Does the TCP autoconfiguration go to a
hostname that exactly matches the certificate that the server is using? Are
the TLS SRV records set up as well? If you use manual configuration and
point to your host, can the client login? If manual configuration works,
you'll know it is related to the SRV records for TLS.
