Posted this in the Office Communicator section with zero responses, thought
I'd try here too.


We are currently using the ABS with Office Communicator for searches. Is
there a way to have results returned only from the ABS and not your Outlook
contacts without losing any presence integration or information in Outlook?

I don't really think so. The only way that i have found to eliminate
the Outlook results is to switch to Windows Address Book as your
personal information manager, and the only way to get presence
information from Outlook is...you guessed it, to have Outlook as your
personal information manager. Kinda stinks.
