I am trying to install single node cluster with Win 2003 ent x64 bit.
Installation goes fine, however at the last step of the install when it tries
to connect to the cluster, it gives an error as below:
ERROR:
The Cluster Service on node 'xxxxxxxxxxxxx' cannot be started. The network
path was not found.
In the event log, I see the folllowing:
DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer using any of the configured
protocols.

Does the 'xxxxxxxxxxxxx' be another physical box, beisdes my single node
where I am setting this up?
Can I do all the config on a single node server with a separate domain
controller box?

I made sure that I add DCOM from the add/remove programs. Its installed. Do I
need to do anything additional to enable this?

The following registry string value is used to enable or disable DCOM on all
operating systems:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\OLE\EnableDCOM

If you change this value to "N", you disable DCOM after you restart the
operating system.

I enabled the DCOM from component services, checked the registry value was
'Y', rebooted the server, however I still get the same error when it tries to
connect to the cluster. Ans the same error in the event log.

How do I troubleshoot this?
