Hi,

I can map a drive to our dfs link \\domain\dfsroot\link, but when I try to
map the same drive using my privileged account, an error message appears
stating that it is already mapped.......Why doesn't dfs allow me to map to
the same location using a different account?

That's down to the way the workstation service handles connections. If you
want to map the same connection using different credentials use the IP
address instead of the hostname. Or just map directly to the shared folder
itself.
