emails not being received using outlook over a VPN |

I am running symantec VPN 8.0 logging into our exchange 2000 server. My
version of outlook is 2003. My problem is I can't receive any emails.
Sending emails is not a problem. I create a new email message and send
it using send and receive option. The email sends out but the send and
receive gets stuck at 73% and outlook goes at a not responding state. I
can ping all necessary server IP. The VPN tunnel connects without any
issue.
I receive a errror from the send and receive dialogur box.
0x80040115 task microsft exchange server reported an error while
sending and receiving the connection to microsoft exchange server is
unavailable.
Is this problem a server problem? VPN problem? Or outlook problem |
