I have a 5-node LBS cluster that were all installed "identically". I put
that in quotes, because on 3 of the nodes I get the following event:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: OnePoint Operations
Event Category: None
Event ID: 21280
Date: 10/24/2005
Time: 9:09:10 AM
Description:
The Agent is supposed to use encrypted communications to talk to the
Consolidator, but it cannot, because this Windows NT configuration does not
support encryption. The agent will use unencrypted communications instead.

Checking the MS site, all I see is "Yup, that's an error all right." Anyone
seen this or know how to fix it? These 3 systems can not talk to my CAM's
and, as such, are not being monitored, so I need to fix it ASAP.

Thanks,
Chris

dunno exactly what is causing this, but are the correct TCP/IP ports

open? it is MOM 2000 right? so that should be 1270 also, iirc 51515 is
the unencrypted port.

mom 2000 encryption is based on Diffie-Hellman key exchange, so you
might look in the docs for that to resolve any problems, is there by any
way computer sid duplication? are they using the same name to report to
MOM? is the agent bound to the correct NIC etc?

can't help you any further but hope you will find your issue.
