I've recently installed the full Standard version of MSCMS 2002 and it now
appears that Site Manager is limiting the amount of users I can add to the
Subscribers group. When I go to add "all users" from my companies Active
Directory I get the message that site manager could not add the group because
it would be in violation of the Standard lisence agreement. Is this normal ?
I need all of our users 400 or so to at least be able to subscribe to the
site. Is there a work around.
thanks

Hi Chris,

this is a known bug. You need to install the following hotfix:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?id=883638

You should also install the following related hotfix:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?id=890334

Cheers,
Stefan

Thanks Stefan !

As always you're a big help.

BTW - to get this download users will have to call MS CMS support to get
this hotfix, but not to worry it's a free call as apposed to their $$$ normal
support charges.
