Email fwding |
|
|
A user is on leave for around 4 weeks. How do I set up a fwding rule in
Exchange, so that any new emails get forwarded to another user (her
colleague)?
We are using SBS2000.
Thanks, |

I would use the Out of Office Assistant in Outlook. But that's just me.

Hi Skc,
In the Users node, properties of that user, tab Exchange, Delivery Options,
fill in the name of the other user you want to forward the email to.

Then she is crazy :) Just kidding. In active directory > user properties
| Quote: | exchange general > delivery options, there is a box to forwad her email to
another user in the domain. If you want to forward it elsewhere, like a |
hotmail account you would need to setup a new contact in AD with that email
address.
