Site Usage Analysis and Processing |

Hi,
I would like to clarify how the logfiles work when usage analysis processing
for a server is configured. I specified only 1 logfileto be created, I have
scheduled the processing of logfiles to go run from 7 to 8 pm. However, when
I checked the logfiles, the start time and end times are not consistent.
These are the records I got:
Date Start Time End Time
10-21-2005 07:03:19 18:10:21
10-22-2005 00:31:08 23:00:09
10-23-2005 03:34:04 23:54:00
Why are they starting and ending at different times given a fixed schedule
to start?
Is specifying just one logfile to be created be the cause of this? that the
logfile is overwritten everytime the job runs? But, I checked I have a
logfile created for each day?
