CMS & FireWall Problems |
|
|
Hi,
We have a CMS site running under production for a client. The CMS box is
under firewall (ISA Server) and it does not have a real IP.
We are trying to publish content for the client from our office. We are
using an administrator account which has privelages across all channels and
templates to author & publish content.
The problem is when we try to author a new channel or edit certain channels
we get a access denied message in a blank screen in the IE. But the funny
thing is that the editing of content for certain channels works just fine.
Any ideas why this happens? Is this due to the Firewall settings at the
clients?
Thanx,
Sam |

Hi Sam,
do these requests hit MCMS server (please verify in IIS log of MCMS)?
Cheers,
Stefan

Ok..I got the edit problem fixed.. It was because "Check Machine IP Against
Cookie" option on the "Security" tab in the SCA was enabled. When I disabled
it, the edit option seems to work fine.
Now the Create an New Page problem, I get this following error...
Error Code: 500 Internal Server Error. The request was rejected by the HTTP
filter. Contact your ISA Server administrator. (12217)

Hi Sam,
that is an ISA server message.
Please post this to an ISA server related newsgroup.
Cheers,
Stefan
