I have a situation where I have a space in a site name. I've tried
adding a Web Reference to the following url but I get a disco error.

http://server/Site%20Test/_vti_bin/Lists.asmx
http://server/Site_x0020_Test/_vti_bin/Lists.asmx <-- Just for fun to
see if it would work.

But if I type http://summitsps/Site%20Test/default.aspx in the Add Web
Reference dialog, I get "8 Services Found", as you would expect.

So my question is, how do I add a Web Reference to
http://server/Site%20Test/_vti_bin/Lists.asmx? Thanks

I just found the answer to this last week. You add the reference and ignore
the error, and then edit the proxy class manually.

Joe,

Thanks for looking into it. From what I've found, there's a bug in .NET
framework v1.1. My problem is that I need to do this dynamically, which
doesn't work. Maybe it'll be fixed in 2.0. Thanks again.
