External and internal website |
|
|
I have a problem.
I can access my website externally with: somename2.domain.com
I can access my website internally with: somename.domain.com, domain.com
If I try to access the: somename2.domain.com internally, page cannot be
displayed is shown.
my server name is: somename.domain.com
my nameserver record on file with the registered site is: somename2.domain.com
I have 3 nameservers somename.domain.com, domain.com, and
somename2.domain.com.
I have 3 Host (A) records: same as above except the name is blank (same as
parent).
Why can I only view the somename2.domain.com externally and the other 2
internally?
Thank you for your help! |

Add an A record to your internal DNS with "somename2" as a host name
pointing to your internal website IP.
