I wonder if anyone has written an MIIS Management Agent for SPS
including delta changes and custom user profile properties. |

Hi Philip,
Currently as I know, there is one MIIS management pack available for SPS.
Perhaps the community may input some helpful information for you.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any further question on this
matter.

Hi Philip,
There is one catalog available listing the index of Management Pack and
Product Connector. From it, we could find the mangement pack below:
Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Management Pack Guide
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/mom/mom2000/maintain/sps03mpg.m
spx
Management Pack and Product Connector Catalog
http://www.microsoft.com/management/mma/catalog.aspx
Hwever, it only introduces the information with MOM, not MIIS. Since
WSS/SPS depends the windows 2003 OS and AD to manage the identity. I think
the MIIS management pack for windows and IIS should also be helpful for
your scenario.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further question on this
matter.

Thanks, but they're not what I was looking for which is a Microsoft
Identity Integration Server Management Agent for SharePort Portal
Server, so that MIIS and SPS can swap SPS UserProfile data and
Metaverse data. I am well on the way to writing such a thing but would
like to use an out-of-the-box solution if possible.
Anyway, thanks for the pointers.

Re: working with Microsoft Identity Integration Server |

Follow up: I've got at least bits of it working now!
I found a small bug in MIIS class Attrib [think Property] has a Name
which always returns a rogue space at the end. This is a pain if you're
trying to make XmlElement names out of them but a quick Trim() and it
worked.
I'm having trouble getting Tracing to work. If I put a
<system.diagnostics> section into the web.config it fails to parse. I
wonder if anyone's seen this? Something to do with W2003 or SPS? |

Hi Philip,
For this issue, I'd suggest please raise one incident to Microsoft. If this
is confirmed by the support engineer that this is really one Microsoft bug,
your incident will be totally free. You local Microsoft PSS contact
information is from:
http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx
Please feel free to let me know if you have any further question on this
matter.
