Is this Win2k or Win2k3?
Event ID 7053 is logged on your Windows 2000 Server-based computer:

Have you modified your root hints?
Are the root hints resolved to IP addresses?
The 4004 and 4015 events are rare in a multi-DC environment. Each DC sholuld
use only the otrher DC and itself for DNS, all clients must use the DCs for
DNS.

Do you have the Root Hints on the Root Hints tab of the DNS server
properties sheet in the DNS Management console?
