Yes, I'm just pasting text into the Company knowledge field in the UI and I
don't see any major limit (author mode isn't needed for company knowledge).
I'm using MOM 2005 SP1. I know there was a UI bug at some time in the past
that put a limit on the amount of text that you were allowed to enter (the
DB could alwasys take a lot) so it may be that this was fixed in SP1.

If you did not create the rule you can't add to the author knowledge.
Try pasting into the Company Knowledge section. I just pasted the entire
text of Oedipus Rex into it and it worked, so there should be enough room
there for you.

Daniel, I am in authoring mode but I can not write in the text area on
the
knowledge authoring tab it's greyed out. I can write on the knowledge
base
tab. Is this the spot you are refering to? If so, we were using this
area
for
our knowledge but only inputing from the operator console. Is this area
less
limited when inputting from the author mode?
Thanks, J.R.

Just right click "Rule Groups" and enable the Authoring mode.
After that, You can write the KB in each rule's properties.

Daniel, the MOM help isn't very helpful. When I go to authoring mode
and
select the author knowledge tab all is greyed out. I am in the
author
and
admin group.
I would like to see some good docs on this.
Thanks, J.R.

Does anyone have any idea if the company knowledge capacity in
MOM2005
can
be
increased?
And if so where and how do accomplish this.
