fax service REPOST |

Hi Cris
the SBS server has got an external ADSL or DSL modem now.
How do i reconfigure SBS server to use the fax service? The fax machine is
a printer and fax. It is a canon imageglass d680. Please help.
The fax number has also changed as we have moved locations. How do i
reconfigure the server? I cannot go thru using add\remove programs as it
will not open for some reason. Can i use the SBS 2000 Server CD? If so, at
what point do i reconfigure the fax number? How do I go through the setup
without changing anything else?
thanks

Are you trying to use the Canon device as your fax through SBS? If so, won't work. You must have either an internal or external (recommended) connected to the SBS server

hi
i have just installed an ADSL service and configured my network (SBS 2000
Server) to use it.
Everything such as printing and email and internet etc is working fine
except for the fax service. I am using a Canon 1200 printer and fax machine.
How do i configure this? I have also changed my fax number - how do i
change this in the system? I tried to do it using add\remove programs but it
does not work. I cannot double click on it as it does not open. I was
thinking should i use the original SBS server 2000 CD?
