Login Issue (not seen same issue on group) |
|
|
Hi there,
I couldn't find this issue on the group, although it seems there's lots of
people with login issues in STS...
We have a hosted sharepoint server, with 3 user accounts set up. From my
both sites in UK, all users accounts work fine - users can login and
browse/upload files/create stuff etc without problems.
From the computers in Spain, those same user accounts aren't working
correctly. Users can only login & browse, and the login prompt keeps
appearing during the browsing.
I've also tried the "Add Network Place" to see if things work by drag-n-drop
in explorer, but no cigar. And, checked firewall settings, but only the
usual windows firewall, and even when off this doesn't make a difference.
So, could it be language settings or something like that!? lol
Anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanks!

Solved.
After lots and lots of reading around, I discovered that changing the
Authentication Method for the site on the server can make a difference.
I tried Integrated, but no luck. Then tried basic, and woohoo! It works.
What a pain in the **** that was.
