I have the anonymous user assigned in SCA called MCMSGuest.
I have assigned MCMSGUest to our general user subscriber role.
I have a local windows account called CMSTest
I have assigned CMSTest to a subscriber role that has access to channels
that the general user susbcriber role does not have permission to.
Additionally, the CMSTest role does not have permission to a channel that
the general user role does have.
However when the CMSTest user logs in with forms authentication, not only
can they see their special channels, but they can still see the channel that
their permission is turned off to but the general user does have permission
to.

Is this correct? Is there a way around this?

TIA!

Hi Hokie,

that is by design.
An item that has guest access enabled can be seen by everyone.

Cheers,
Stefan

Thanks Stefan! I thought so but wanted to confirm before I talked to the
client.
