Hi,

If you take properties on a Channel using Site Manager, you have the option
under the "Web Authoring" tab to specify default galleries.

Is it possible to apply these settings to all descendents?

If not - is it possible to accomplish this by modifing the dialog pages (We
are using the custom dialog pages Stefan G has placed on gotdotnet)?

Kind regards

Tony

Hi Tony,

it is not possible to apply this to the child galleries.
You could write a console application which enumerates the whole channel
structure and updates these properties.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

We were thinking about doing that.

However since the TreeView does behave correctly is the property has been
specified on the current Channel is must internally have a property that
uses the CmsHttpContext.Current.Channel.DefaultResourceGallery /
CmsHttpContext.Current.Channel.DefaultTemplateGallery.

Are you aware of any method to override that property of the TreeView
control?

Kind regards

Tony

Hi Tony,

honestly: I have not looked into this dialog in that depth to answer this
question.

Cheers,
Stefan
