Hi

I update a cms2001 database to cms2002 (I have installed CMS2002 and updated
the cms2001 database).
The web is OK, but i don´t now how can I modified the old templates (or
create a new template), because when I take Visual Studio .NET and I select a
CMS Proyect I can't select de root folder from de localhost.

Any idea.

Thanks

Hi Cad,

to modify the existing ASP templates you can use Frontpage or VS.NET by just
opening the files.
There is no project for these templates.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Cad,

it is recommended not to create new ASP templates with CMS 2002.
CMS 2002 does not give you much assistance with ASP.

You would need to use VS.NET to create the template gallery item and then
point the SourceFile property of the template gallery item to the ASP page.

Please verify the SourceFile property of your existing template gallery item
to identify which ASP file needs to be adjusted in your scenario.

Cheers,
Stefan

Ok. Thanks.

But, I have two new templates by each old templates.
name_template_editable.asp and name_template_staging.asp. Only if I
modified
the template xxx_staging.asp, the changes commit. Which is the difference?

How can I make a new asp templates? and aspx templates?

Thanks
