Exchange Disaster Recovery Pb |
|
|
Hi all,
I have a 2 nodes cluster running Win2k3 + Exchange 2k3. For my enterprise
disaster recovery plan, I Installed, in a second site, another cluster server
(a "sleeping" one).
Here is the configuration
Outgoing messages
Echange 2003 - > Mail router -> Internet
Incoming messages
Internet -> Mail router -> Exchange 2003
The mail router send all messages coming with 'mydom.com' to my Production
Exchange Cluster.
All messages comming with 'mydom-test.com' goes to my 2nd Exchange cluster
(the "sleeping one"). This rule is activated only for test reason.
I made a test last week and I stopped my Prodcution Exchange serveur and I
waked up my second one (Exchange disaster recovery process).
I was able to send messages to the internet but was unable to receive. All
the incomming messages were sent to my cluster (the 2nd one) and were resent
to my mail router that no messages were delivered to mailboxes.
I may forgot something to do. Any help ? |

Sounds like a DNS problem with your MX records. Did you change the weighs
during the test?
Cheers,
