Error in Creating Oracle Connection |

I am using the .NET provider for Oracle "System.Data.OracleClient"
namespace to connect to Oracle from my webpart. While trying to make a
NEW Oracle Connection object within a procedure, the web part throws a
"System.Security.SecurityException" and the site returns an error
The "WebPart1" Web Part appears to be causing a problem.
Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this
page to temporarily disable Web Parts or remove personal settings. For
more information, contact your site administrator.
I have added the namespace as a part of the SafeControl list but it
still does not work. Do I need to set my settings at WSS_Full to run
the app. The issue is when I set this setting to WSS_Full, even my
default page is not opening up.
Any ideas
