agentless computer not shown in operator console |
|
|
i have use the computer discovery mention to add a computer to agentless
managed computers. but i never seen it is on the operator console.
i can see the agented copmuters event without problems, but not the agentless.
is that i need to do anything everyt to see agentless computers events?
please help.. |

Do you have a MP (management pack) installed which should collect events |
from that computer? It depends on the role it has ...
you could look in the administrator console in the admin node then
browse to the agent and check to see which rule groups it belongs to.

yes i have installed Windows Based Managment Pack , but its not showing
anything on the operator console ..
all the agented server can monitor correctly but just only the agentless
computers .. do i need to do anything special out of the agented computers?

forgot to mention ... i was in wrokgroup envirnoment.
now i have setup a AD , and the agentless computer can shows in state view
of the operator console now .. but not the performance view ... whats wrong ?
is that the agentless manage cannot run in workgroup envirnoment?

I have added the Domain MOM Action account as local admin on a server with an
agentless monitor. The server appears in the all computers (Admin Cosole) and
in the agentless managed computers, but it does not appear in the Operator
console nor the performance counters. 2 rule groups are deployed to it.
Is there anything I should do to make the server appear in the oprator
console?
