Hi

I don't understand this. If I've two servers and both are online. And then I
start the filereplication service (ntfrs). So... it's clear, that the first
one is unable to connect, since the second one may still be offline... but
after those services started, I don't see the reason, why it sometimes takes
hours (I also heart from days), until the service is able to connect to its
partner. I also programed services which are connecting to each other...
but... it never takes more than 10 minutes after all services are up until
they find each other.
These 13508 and 13509 events are really a problem I think (and it takes a
lot of time to verify, that everything is ok).

thanks for information
MR

If these are happening a lot you either have DNS or Network problems. If
these are infrequent, don't worry about it. Ultrasound and/ or Sonar will
help you monitor all of this. These are free tools from Microsoft's
download site.
