Hi.
I working in project to migrate "His 2000" aplication to "his 2004" and use
..dll files with web service instead Comti components.

I have configurated the primary server, and this is working, In the same
server, i have aplication running with web services.

I have someone questions.

1. When i install second server in His2004 subdomian, in the configuration
Wizard, i choose backup role option.
What to do this option?? this means the Hot Backup function, i need
configure others option to have Hot Backup.

2. To have load balancing, i may use the same configuration with His 2000.?
or i need other settings.

3. What happend with HIP? Bakcup and balancing configuration

4. Someone document where i may read about this topics, or some step by
step..

The "Backup" role that is specified during setup refers to the membership
role of this server in the SNA domain and not to server load balancing in the
traditional sense but it really depends on how your application is written
and how the clients are connecting. Here is a Q article that describes this
for SNA 4.0. It might be helpful.
