Francis,

I've seen this happen a few times. Usually it is caused by having multiple
network cards that are registering in DNS.

Make sure you have stripped your heartbeat NIC to just an IP address and
gateway, no DNS, ensure it is not trying to register itself in DNS, and no
WINS, with NETBIOS disabled.

If other cards in the system are needed (say for backup VLANS or what not)
make sure that you don't have them registering under the same FQDN...

This is also typically solved when physically separating the Heartbeat and
Public NICs on different switches (recommended) or through virtually
separating them by using VLANs (also very good). These two networks should
also have different subnet addressing (i.e. - Public=10.x.x.x; HB =
192.168.x.x, etc.) as this will also aid in preventing multiple DNS
registrations on the same subnet - a no-no, particularly in clustering.
