has worked. I have configured my ADSL Router but feel maybe I'm missing

Default Gateway:XX.X.XXX.XX
Primary DNS:61.9.224.14
Secondary DNS:61.9.240.14
VPI/VCI:8/ 35
LAN Information:
MAC Address:00:04:ed:0d:04:44
IP Address: 192.168.1.254 (router ip)
IP Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

I'm at my wits end...
Please help!

Did your ISP supply and setup this router? Usually easier to deal with if it
can be setup in bridging rather than routing mode.

How is the Authentication being accomplished? Did you supply the correct
information on the Router from the ISP? Your best solution at this point
would be to call Tech Support at your ISP and have them walk you through
setup of Router as each ISP is different. You can also check to insure your
Router is supported with their network.

I using PPoE which allows authentication and assignment of static ip
address. ISP supplied me with DSN and Secondary DSN. My problem is I
can't view the connection. But I have asked someone not on my network
test and they get through. So why can't I connect through the browser?
Does that sound stupid? |

Would I be right to think that my internal and my routers will not let
me connect? |

What IP address is being assigned by your Router. At a command prompt type
IPCONFIG /ALL. Do the IP settings correspond to your Router setup? Can you
ping externally to a webstie from Command prompt, for example PING
www.yahoo.com. Does it resolve? Sounds like your Gateway address on your
computer is incorrect but you will be able to verify with IPCONFIG.

OK lets go back to basics
How many nics in your SBS server?
There should be two! One considered your internal nic connected to a switch with all workstations connected to that switch
Second one considered to be External NIC
Internal nic gateway should be blank and only 1 DNS entry pointing to its own static IP
DHCP Must Be Turned Off on your Router
External nic IP must be static IP matching the LAN subnet range of your router, Gateway should point to the Router LAN IP, DNS on the External NIC must also point to the IP address of the Internal NIC.
Then run the connect to the internet wizard on the server
Go here for more details
