Read through the post below named "version numbers".
We have been working with MS because of that KB and the version number.
Unfortunately, the KB is VERY misleading. The eval version AND the RTM
version are both 5369.0
And, everywhere you look throught properties of the files, the
versions/dates are the same.
The file size of the original compressed .exe is different, though. The
eval is around 48MB and the EE RTM version is around 57MB.
Another way to tell is to begin the install up to the point where you have
to accept the license agreement. In the eval version, at the very top in
huge letters, it states that it is the 120 day eval.

Mike:
I am not sure if there is an easy way to do this, like looking in the event
log.
My "jury rigged" way is to look at the the creation date of the folder that
Live Comm was installed into. There should be a server and a support folder
in there as well. The dates on all three of those folders should match up.
That was the date of the install and the trial is good for 120 days.
While we were waiting on the product CDs to arrive, we had to check this.
Fortunately we were nowhere near 120 days.
Sorry for the lame duck andswer. Maybe one of the MSFT folks will chime in
with a better answer.
