On an SBS 2000 install I have Raid 1 on two 80g IDE drives split into 2
partitions, one as "C:/" (the system ) and the other as "H:/". the "C:/"
partition has only 10g and I would like to move the pagefile to the "H:/"
partition to increase the available space on the "C:/" partition. Can I make
a page file on the "H:/" partition, reboot and then delete the pagefile on
the "C:/" partition? I tried to move the pagefile once to another drive and
had to reinstall - scared to try again.

In it's present state I can't defrag the "C:/" partition - not enough space.

Any positive reinforcement would be greatly appreciated!

You should be able to move the pagefile without incident. Here's the
procedure...

Moving the Windows Default Paging and Spool File
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=123747

Move Pagefile
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz2000/browse_frm/thread/25d516dd3d74f6a3/4725b13c44264d72?q=sbs+2000+move+pagefile+merv&_done=%2Fgroups%3Fhl%3Den%26lr%3D%26q%3Dsbs+2000+move+pagefile+merv%26&_doneTitle=Back+to+Search&&d#4725b13c44264d72

As always, have a current backup (and Emergency Repair Disks) in case things
go south. (I usually like to have a Ghost 2003 image of the server before
doing anything major).
