Failed mail |
|
|
Some of the mail from out senders did noty reach our reccipients (working
under SBS 2003). I have recently investigated the matter and found out that
there is a folder failed mail where over 700 messages are keept. After that
I found out that all messages which are sent to so called "undisclosed
recipients" go into this folder.
I know that some role in tht plays POP3 connector.
Does someone know how to avoid that any mail goes to sthis forlder? It would
be better if this mail is sent to so called postmaster.

What you are referring to is probably the Bad Mail Folder which can be setup
with some scripting to delete all contents using Task Scheduler and script.

FYI: If you install Exchange 2003 SP1 then you do not need to do anything.
