when alert set to 'resolved' never appears again? |
|
|
when I get a critical alert, warning or error from one of my servers, I fix
the problem and then right click on the entry in the Operator COnsole and
choose 'resolved' then enter some resolution notes. if that same event
occurs again, no MOM alert/warning/error is generated.
e.g. if SQL Agent stops on one of our SQL servers and a critical alert is
generated, I set it resolved, the next time the SQL Agent stops there is no
critical alert, no notification. |

However there is a way to list all the resolved items. (alert view
properties)
And I don't know if the last event date is update here ?
