I have a server that has extrememly slow access to the AD Users and
Computers snap-in. I also notice that the exchange system manager snap-in
also goes slow. On a remote server the AD u&c snap-in appears normal but it
doesn't have the exchange information in it.

Anybody got any ideas where I need to start looking. Thanks!

I have checked DNS and the server is up to SP4.

Hi Craig,

Can you post the ipconfig/all from the server please?

Thanks Marina, but it actually was something pretty simple. I have another
remote office with a server there and AD was connecting to that server. So
selecting the local server in the snap-in made it behave normally.

I had to create a new site for the remote office, since it was in the
default site.
