Hi Eric,

synchronization. Forward synchronization is incremental and granular at the

should be used when a customer wants to centralize directory administration

Active Directory.

Yes thanks for the reply, before the 1-way synch an inverse (NDS to AD)
synch will occur.
I just wonder to know what is really happening in that initial and unique
NDS to AD synch, is its that the netware users are gone from netware?
is it that a persons can use both usernames 1 to login to AD and the other
to login to Netware?
I have the same questoin on the source files (when using FMU) are the files
gone from netware after the "load data" button is pressed?

Hi,
Thanks for the information, how about FMU? does it copy or move the files
from Netware to AD?
also do I need to run IPX/SPX on the AD side to either MSDSS or FMU? or is
there anyway to avoid IPX/PSX on the AD side to migrate from netware 6.x to
AD-2003?
I am also going to migrate GroupWise 6.x to Exchange2003. for the same
company.
