Hi Eric,

One-way Synchronization

This is a synchronization process that pushes changes made in Active
Directory to NDS or a NetWare 3.x bindery, but does not read changes made
in NDS. Active Directory-to-Novell synchronization flow is called forward
synchronization. Forward synchronization is incremental and granular at the
attribute level (it reads changed objects from Active Directory and writes
only the modified attributes to NDS). Forward synchronization from Active
Directory to NDS requires no schema change on NDS. One-way synchronization
should be used when a customer wants to centralize directory administration
in Active Directory or prepare to migrate from NDS or NetWare binderies to
Active Directory.

I just wonder to know what is really happening in that initial and unique

I have the same questoin on the source files (when using FMU) are the files

Hi,

Thanks for the information, how about FMU? does it copy or move the files
from Netware to AD?
also do I need to run IPX/SPX on the AD side to either MSDSS or FMU? or is
there anyway to avoid IPX/PSX on the AD side to migrate from netware 6.x to
AD-2003?
I am also going to migrate GroupWise 6.x to Exchange2003. for the same
company.
