If I want to remove DNS which has zone for the local domain AD Intergrated
how do I go about it. Can I just delete the zone? Will this effect the other
DNS servers or the data in AD??

TIA

it will not affect the data (aside from the SRV record). only clients who
are pointing to that dns server which you wish to remove will be affected.
btw, there's no real reason to delete/remove dns since the information
will exist in the AD database anyway, regardless of whether or not dns is
installed on the DC.
