This may be the wrong area for this but we use SBS 2003 and would like to use
the sharepoint server as our helpdesk. From what I see the prepackaged
helpdesk does not link to exchange. Is there a way to do this? If not are any
other using this feature as your helpdesk and if so how.

Thanks
Mark

YOu should be able to go into site administration through administrative tools.
Configure "Default mail server settings"

I'm sorry Eric. When I said link with Outlook/Exchange I meant to allow the
Helpdesk tasks to show up on the Exchange users tasks.

Mark,

I don't think there is any Tasks integration between WSS and Exchange. If
the goal is to simply get the information into Outlook, you may be able to
use the WSS alert feature. For example, if your users have Infopath, the
could submit a form that would update a folder that would generate an alert
to subscribed users.

Hope this helps
