Can someone point me in the direction of DFS documentation?
I'd like to know what files I need to backup if my DFS breaks and also
any tools that might help me troubleshoot my issues.

All the DFS documentation can be found under:
-- www.microsoft.com/dfs
-- www.technet.com

Unfortunately, I can't find a default page for DFS under technet. There is
an FRS one though:
