Why would I be able to access a share with full rights using
\\servername\sharename but not with \\dfs\sharename (access denied) when both
locations are the same. How would one go about fixing this?

Thanks in advance for all those that respond.

Perhaps you don't have adequate permissions to the DFS share.

What version of Windows are you using? I can't remember where it is now, as
I'm playing with R2, but in R2 you can set a number of permissions on the
root.
