Hi grp,

This is Athi.

I need help reg Network Load Balancing. I need to configure NLB
using VB. Is thr any API available??

I used WMI class. But, it can only retrieve the info. It seems, the
Cluster details are read only. In MSDN NLB FAQ, they sed, "NLB cannot
be configured using WMI". Ref:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/technologies/clustering/nlbfaq.mspx

While configuring using cluster.exe in command
prompt(http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/library/ServerHelp/62513114-6281-4119-8a65-6463be5646a6.mspx),
it says "System error 5898 has occurred (0x0000170a). This computer
cannot be made a member of a cluster." (I donno, why this error comes.
I gave the password correctly)

Then, I tried to change the registry. If the value in the registry
changed, it gets affected in the configuration. But, I cannot check the
check box of NLB, avilable in the LAN properties by writing it to the
registry.
After clicking the NLB check box manually, it adds lot of data to
the registry.(Checked it with Exam Diff tool) and so, it will be a
hectic job to add all those details.

Is thr any other way to configure NLB?? Or, did I do anything wrong
in the above options??

Thanx in Advance.

Thanx n Regards,
Athi
