Hi,

We've been deluged for a long time now, but lately the spam has been getting
very very offensive. I've got Symantec's Mail Security for Exchange
running, but there's still way too much of this stuff coming in.

We're pretty low-budget, but we need to do something. Anyone have any
suggestions? I've already used reverse DNS lookup.

Many thanks!

GFI Mail Essentials 11 is the best I've used. If you upgrade to SBS2003 and
consequently have Exchange2003 the Microsoft Intelligent Message Filter also
does a good job.

www.spamsoap.com

We are currently using this service. The dns records are changed to point to
their servers and all mail is scanned there before it hits your server and
only good messages are send back to the exchange server. It works very very
good. I have not gotten a single virus detected by norton since I started
using this and it also is a backup server in the event your server goes down
it will store all your messages until it comes back up. I am not sure what
your budget is as it is a monthy charge per mailbox that is charged every 6
months...
