hi, i m getting the error message "access is denied" when i start the starter
site. i know that it is some security issue but i m not able to figure out.
please help.

Search in the forums for this and you should get something.

Here are a bunch of things to try out/ use to debug:

SQL Profiler / EventViewer / App Pool identity (IIS6) / Connect to DB from
source machine using credentials that the worker process is running under
etc.
