I am trying to delete folder that was in my DFS space. But it is giving me
access denied even though I am the administrator. Please help.

What type of root is this, and what type of administrator are you (local
only, or a domain account)?

Are you perhaps trying to delete a folder on the disk, which is under the
DFS root folder? You'll need to do that through the GUI (or command line).

If you are trying to access folders in the DFS space under the local drive,
it will not work.

You need to access the DFS space using the UNC \\servername\share

This should allow you access to the folders.
