I have had been experiencing some problem on a customer site getting a page notification script to execute using the Notification Format in Global Settings (MOM 2005), and have found a discrepency in the help file information.

I quote from the help file:

Application
Specify the executable file for the command line utility (for example, Notepad.exe).

This did not work !

After much testing I have found for custom scripts, you need to complete the fields as follows:

Note the Application entry *includes* the full path as well!

For the Notification Command Format in Global Settings, its the same:

Note here the first part of the Command Line is the application name itself - I initially thought the first command line parameter was being thrown away as it was not being passed, this is also not clear from the help file.
