I upgraded to win2000pro and when I rebooted the last time I got an error
that said "A previous installation has pending work requiring a reboot. You
need to restart your computer to complete that installation. I rebooted
several times but I kept getting the error. Then I tried to install windows
again. As I started to go through the install on about the second screen it
said the previous installation had errors and to click on the "details"
button to fix them. When I clicked on the "details" button, IE started to
load but then I got this error: iexplore.exe has generated errors and will
be closed by Windows. I tried to install IE but got the same error.

So now I can't install windows because it wants to use IE to fix a problem
yet I can't install IE because it thinks the installation was not completed.
How do I fix this?

Thanks,

Dan D.
