hoto setup a backup/2nd DNS server |

Hi all.
i have upgraded my main pdc to w3k and have a 2nd w3k dc on the network.
(mixed mode, some nt4 servers still floating around)
as the initial upgrade setup the DNS/AD, can someone point me to articles on
how to setup a backup dns server on my 2nd w3k server and not trash my whole
network.
any help appreciate,as i am a DNS idiot

Just make the 2nd DNS server AD-integrated, pointing to the first AD/DNS
server you built as it's preferred DNS server under it's TCP/IP properties,
and you're done~!

Well, not quite that easy, you need to step through the DNS setup wizard on
your 2nd server, pointing to the zone name held by the first server during
the wizard setup process.
