Is there a way to generate a list of users and link the record to the public
profile of the user.

We are working wit SPS in domain account modus where users exist in AD,
users are members of user groups and these groups are given rights in
SharePoint. This means that rights are not given to single users but to user
groups and therefore single users are not shown as users.

Would be happy about solution ideas or concret solutions (webpart?).

You should be able to just show the link to
http[s]://<server>/MySite/Public.aspx?accountname=[domain%5c]username

Thanks Gary for your hint. It helps to link a public user profile. Do you
know also a way to generate dynamically a list of users of a site?

Get the SPWeb object of the site and then iterate through the Users object
to generate all the users of that site.

Thanks Brad for your hint to realize it by developing a webpart.

I mean this should be a quite comon need and there should already developed
webparts exist. Does anyone know anyone?
