You may want to check with the company/manufacturer which sold you Office
2000, or the computer that had Office 2000 installed on it.
Your questions would be best directed to a newsgroup related to Office 2000.
This newsgroup is dedicated to Microsoft's Live Communication Server. LCS
is a Real-Time Collaboration product that provides internal Instant
Messaging (IM) capabilities and presence awareness. LCS also includes
functionality to archive Instant Messages to a SQL server.
LCS is popular with corporations and organizations who don't want to give up
the benefits of IM and presence, but require a solution to be brought
in-house so that they may meet their compliance objectives, such as
archiving and secure communications.
More information regarding Live Communication Server can be found at:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/livecomm/prodinfo/overview.mspx
or
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX010908711033.aspx
The Microsoft support site is http://support.microsoft.com and has support
centers related to many Microsoft products.

Bob
