Hi,

In the event log of my DNS server I get the following informational message:

The dns server wrote version 89 of zone xyx.com to file xyz.com dns

This gets written every 1/2 hour.

Any idea what this is?

Hi Ave,

Sounds like you have a secondary zone and it's reporting sucessfull
synchronisation in the eventlog.
